Four area players volleyball all-stars

Trinity Lutheran setter Bailey Reynolds and outside hitter Kennedy Hoffman were selected for the Indiana High School Volleyball Coaches Association 1A-2A South All-Star team recognizing senior players.

The Cougars compete in Class 1A.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic there were no tryouts for the all-star team this year. There were 14 players chosen for the South and 14 for the North.

Meanwhile, Brownstown Central had two players — Kendra McCory and Kayla Guthrie — honored as being among the top seniors for 3A and 4A in an announcement made immediately afterwards.

As participants in 3A, the Brownstown girls were chosen for the 14-member South team. The coaches offered congratulations to the picks even though they are not able to host the All-Star Match this year due to the coronavirus sitution.
