Mr. Larry Lee Davis, 89, of Seymour, passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at Schneck Medical Center. He was born in Rockwell City, Iowa on July 15, 1931 to the late Oliver and Louisa Davis.

On June 20, 1952, Larry married the love of his life, Nancy Hancock Davis. Larry & Nancy shared the same birthdate and literally did everything in life together. They enjoyed fishing in Florida and travelling to watch their grandchildren play in sporting events. They enjoyed serving their community together with Meals on Wheels.

Larry proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Marine Corps. He held membership in the Union Ironworkers (Local 22), American Quarter Horse Association, and American Cutting Horse Association. Larry was co-owner of Fertilawn, Inc in Seymour. Larry was a member of First United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his children, Kelly Sue Lutton and her husband Jon Lutton, Clint Lee Davis and his wife Lisa Davis; grandchildren, Alex Buckles, Ethan Buckles, Lee Davis and his wife Morgan Davis, Riley Davis, and Keely Davis.

He was preceded in death by his parents; beloved wife and sister, Phyllis Chandler.

Funeral services for Larry will be conducted by Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Monday, November 16 at 1:00 pm with Rev. Rick Bell officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery. Masks are respectfully required before entering and anytime within the building of Voss & Sons Funeral Service.

Family and friends may call at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Monday from 11:00 am until time of service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be written to Jackson County Humane Society or Meals on Wheels, in care of Voss & Sons Funeral Service.
