Terry and Linda McDaniel of Petersburg, Virginia, plan to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a small gathering of family given by their children due to limitations from COVID-19 and social distancing.

Terry and the former Linda Emily were married Nov. 20, 1970, in Clearspring.

The couple are the parents of five children, Kerry Harbour, John (Karen) McDaniel, Kyle (Tara) McDaniel, Krista (Ryan) Sturt and Kelly (Brad) Sulc. They have 12 grandchildren.

Linda is a retired registered nurse, and Terry is retired from being employed as a power plant manager.
