Mrs. Annaphine “Ann” Troxell, 90, of Seymour, passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at Covered Bridge Health Campus. She was born May 17, 1930 in Eminence, Kentucky to the late Willard Wilson and Mable Ackee Wilson. On November 2, 1953, in Jeffersonville, Indiana, Ann married James Troxell; he preceded her in death on August 3, 2008.

Ann was a member of Living Word Baptist Church. She was a homemaker that enjoyed caring for her family.

Ann is survived by her daughter, Teresa Ann (Mike) McCarty Thias; sons, Donald W. McCarty, James Michael (Ginger) Troxell, Richard P. Troxell; grandchildren, Jason (Roxan Bohal) Thias, Chris McCarty, Dustin McCarty, Derick Troxell, Jamie Troxell Medaris; great-grandchildren, Taylor, Maddie and Hudson; and sister-in-law, Eva Mae Wilson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; 2 brothers and one sister.

Visitation will be at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Sunday, November 8 from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. and at Ransdell Funeral Home (7101 Campbellsburg Rd., Campellsburg, KY) on Monday, November 9 from 12:00 to 1:00 pm. Masks are respectfully required when entering and anytime within the buildings of Voss & Sons Funeral Service or Ransdell Funeral Home.

A graveside services will be held at Eminence Cemetery, Eminence, Kentucky, on Monday, November 9 at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Bob Franklin officiating.

Memorials may be written to Hospice of Schneck Medical Center or charity of choice, in care of Voss & Sons Funeral Service.
