The Happy Tree Art Studio is hosting pencil drawing classes this month with Darrin Means, a 1991 Crothersville High School graduate who is now the art teacher at Southwestern High School.
The classes are open to any student attending Crothersville Junior-Senior High School. The classes are free, and all supplies will be provided.
The first class is from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday. Other classes are scheduled for 5 to 7 p.m. Nov. 12, 19 and 24.
The studio is located upstairs at Beauty from Ashes Tattoo Parlor, 201 N. Armstrong St., Crothersville. The community-based art studio is made possible by a grant from the Indiana Arts Commission.
