The Crothersville-Vernon Township Volunteer Fire Department is teaming up with Crothersville FFA for a last fry of the season.

From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. (or while supplies last) Saturday at the fire station, 200 Moore St., Crothersville, the fire department will be selling fish and hand-breaded pork tenderloin sandwiches for $4 and the FFA will be selling barbecue pork burgers for $4.

This will be a drive-thru-only event. Pull into the parking lot behind the fire station off of U.S. 31.

Funds raised by the fire department will go toward life-saving equipment to benefit the community, while money raised by the FFA will be used for its annual Toy and Food Drive.
