Organizers decide to cancel Acoustic Fest

Live music just isn’t in the cards for 2020.

Organizers of Crossroads Acoustic Fest have announced this year’s event in downtown Seymour, which was postponed from April to November because of the COVID-19 pandemic, has now been canceled.

Shawn Busby, festival creator and chairman, said the event committee hopes to be able to have the festival again in 2021, but for now is not setting a date.

"We will return when it’s safe to host indoor, live music," he said.

Anyone who purchased tickets will have credit for next year’s festival or may use that credit toward another local music event hosted by the Crossroads Music Team.

Full refunds also are available through Oct. 31 by emailing [email protected].
