Crothersville FFA cancels craft show, announces fundraiser

Crothersville FFA has announced it won’t be able to host the 26th annual craft show in November.

COVID-19 restrictions were just too great of an obstacle to overcome, Adviser Linda Myers said.

In order to raise the needed funds it takes to still have the annual Crothersville FFA Toy and Food Drive, the organization has once again partnered with the Crothersville-Vernon Township Volunteer Fire Department.

From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at the fire station, 200 Moore St., Crothersville, the fire department will be selling fish sandwiches for $4 and FFA will be selling pork burgers for $4. This will be a drive-thru-only event.

The funds raised will go to Crothersville FFA to use for the Toy and Food Drive. Each year, FFA delivers toys and food to more than 100 families in Vernon Township.
