Two upcoming Jackson County History Center events have been canceled due to concerns about the COVID-19 pandemic.

The first event is the center’s 11th annual Pioneer Dinner, which had been set for Oct. 29 in Brownstown.

The other event is the Festival of Trees held during the Christmas holiday each year.

The nonprofit organization is accepting donations to help with operating costs. Donations are tax-deductible.
