Kip “Kipton” Lee Howe, 57, of Seymour, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at his home. He was born in Shelbyville, Indiana to Donald and Marquitta (Clifford) Howe.

He met and married his beloved wife, Kelle (Able) Howe, in 2002.

Kip was a 1981 graduate of Columbus North High School. In 1992, Kip began his career at NTN Driveshaft, where he worked diligently for 28 years before retiring in January 2020. Kip was a diehard IU basketball and Indianapolis Colts football fan. He loved nothing more than spending time with family and friends. He was an amazing chef and known for his strawberry pie and fried chicken. Growing up, he was awarded grand champion for his BBQ Chicken at the 4-H fair.

Kip loved collecting M&M memorabilia. He was an avid sports fan. His second love of his life was his 1930 Model A Hot Rod.

Kip is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Kelle Howe; children, Dylan (Andrea) Howe, Olivia Howe (Eric Cribbs), Jonathan Couch (Sarah Burke); his first grandchild on the way; brother, Kyle (Sherry Fowler) Howe; sisters, Kim Anderson and Karla Dahn; and nieces and nephews, Amanda, Alyssa, Toni, Morgan and Jay Able, Kara Anderson, Travis (Ashley) Anderson and Bryan Dahn.

Kip was preceded in death by his father, Donald Howe; grandparents, Oral and Glendola Howe and Lowell and Margaret Clifford; nephew, Justin Anderson; and brother-in-law, Joe Able.

Funeral services for Kip will be conducted at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Saturday, October 3 at 1:30 p.m. Burial will follow at Norristown Cemetery near Shelbyville. Masks are respectfully required.

Family and friends may call at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Friday from 5:00 to 8:00 pm and on Saturday from 12:30 p.m. until time of service.
