Lowell was devoted to God and his family. He was a virtuous man who revered the blessings that each day brought and always lived in the presence of the here and now. Living simply, he gave generously to his community, St. Vincent DePaul and to anyone he thought was in need. His legacy of humility and kindness will be forever woven in the hearts of those fortunate enough to have ever met him. Many generations to come will know of him as the family’s hero and hear of his mushroom hunting adventures and his secret for living to 94 years old is a daily dose of Big Red and homemade ice cream.
