No Fest to kick off 3-day run Thursday

The Seymour Brewing Co.’s No Fest begins Thursday and is packed with food and craft vendors and live music.

The three-day festival begins at 11 a.m. in the area behind The Brooklyn Pizza Co. and The Seymour Brewing Co. on Maple Avenue in Seymour.

Organizers are asking those who attend to wear a mask.

An opening ceremony will be at 11 a.m. Thursday with a stein hoist at 5 p.m. Musical performers throughout the day will include Rich Hampton, Bomar and Ritter, Levi Croquart and Past Tense. Headliner Stephen Wilson Jr. will close out the night at 8:45 p.m.

On Friday, performers will include Bomar and Ritter, Mike Russell, Exotic Species, Jake Cruser and headliners Brent James and the Vintage Youth.

Saturday will begin with the annual Kegs and Eggs event at 9 a.m. with Rich Hampton providing music followed by The Dew Daddies, Crane Hill, Brad Treadway and Kill’n Smalls.

Beer garden tickets are limited to 150 per night for social distancing, and less than 30 tickets remain. Tickets are $60 for all three days, including Kegs and Eggs, and can be purchased at the brewery on West Second Street. More than a dozen beers will be on tap.

Besides Brooklyn Pizza, other food vendors include Sati Babi, Junkyard BBQ and Zion Lutheran Church’s famous Oktoberfest apple dumplings. There also will be 25 craft vendors set up, including nonprofit groups.
