VALLONIA

Tony Ray “Bubba” Cochrane, 58, of Vallonia, died at 7:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 17, 2020 at his home. He was born on July 3, 1962 to the late Tom & Luetta June Polly Cochrane. He attended Medora High School.

On August 10, 1996, at the Medora Methodist Church, he married Tina Spence Morris Cochrane and she survives in Vallonia.

Bubba worked at Jess Sovern’s gas station, Schrader Tire Company, Jackson County Highway Department, drove a truck for Hartley Trucking and lastly worked for Lawyer Excavation.

Survivors include his wife, Tina; daughter, Leslie (Heather) Terry; 2 stepsons, Logan and Jesse Morris; brother, Fred (Stacy) Cochrane; sisters, Brenda (Stan) Guthrie & JoAnn (Roy) Fleetwood.

Bubba was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers, Tom Jr. and Steve Cochrane.

Funeral services for Bubba will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at the Medora Christian Church with Elder Jeff McPike officiating. Friends may visit with the family on Monday, September 21st from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home, Vallonia and from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the church on Tuesday. Burial will take place Fairview Cemetery in Brownstown. In lieu of flowers the family is asking that memorial contributions be given to help them purchase a headstone.

The family is asking that all visitors please wear a mask while you are the funeral home. Johnson Funeral Home will be practicing social distancing according to the CDC guidelines.
