VALLONIA

Janice May Robinson, 75, of Vallonia died at 12:20 p.m. on Tuesday, September 16, 2020 at the Covered Bridge, Seymour. She was born on November 16, 1944 in Clearspring, IN to the late James T. Deckard & Helen Elkins Deckard.

She married Larry Robinson on March 30, 1971 and he survives in Vallonia.

Janice was a member of the Vallonia Christian Church. She worked at Dura, Medora Plastics, Silgan, Tecumsah, Panasote, and then retired from Hendrick Box. Janice enjoyed being with her family, going to yard sales, watching True Crime TV shows and visiting friends in her little green pickle truck.

Survivors include her husband; sons, Bobby (Cheryl) Schrader of Vallonia, Richard (Connie) Schrader of Brownstown, Tim (Missy) Robinson of Medora; step-son, Shawn (Traci) Johnson of Seymour; grandchildren, Cody Schrader, Brook Schrader (Denver Dowling), Adam (Amanda) Schrader, Savannah (Jeremy) Cole, Bethany Schrader (Cody Fortner), Lindy Schrader, Caleb (Erin) Robinson, Logan Miser (Mattie England), Jacob (Kirsten) Johnson, Kayli Bailey, Jacob Paul (Victoria) Johnson, & Isaiah Johnson; 5 great grandchildren; brother, James Edward Willoughby; sisters, Lois Engleking, her twin sister Sandra Poorman, Carolyn Sue Zaggy, & Sammie Kaye (Dan) Patterson.

Janice was preceded in death by her parents, brother?Bill Deckard and twin brother/sister.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 21, 2020 at Johnson Funeral Home with Chris Criminger officiating. Friends may visit with the family on Sunday, September 20th from 2:00-6:00 p.m. and on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Burial will take place at the Vallonia Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to the Vallonia Christian Church or Red Sky Rescue.

The family is asking that all visitors please wear a mask while you are the funeral home. Johnson Funeral Home will be practicing social distancing according to the CDC guidelines.
