SEYMOUR

Mr. Kenneth “Kenny” Lee Collins, 58, of Seymour, passed away in the comfort of his home on September 15, 2020. Born October 7, 1961, in Seymour, he was the son of the late Glen Collins and Linda (Roger) Nowland Collins McGill.

On August 4, 2001, in Gatlinburg, TN, he married Teresa Gayle (Dunn) Collins who survives.

Kenny was a member of the First Baptist Church of Crothersville. He spent many years as a truck driver with Underwood Industries. Kenny enjoyed riding his moped, watching game shows, and cookouts. He thoroughly took pleasure in spending time with his children and grandchildren, especially the babies. He loved his trusty sidekick, Batman, and was rarely without him by his side.

Besides his beloved wife Teresa, he is survived by his mother, Linda and stepfather, Roger; children Cassandra Collins, Joshua Collins, and Christey Collins; stepchildren Jennifer Simmons and Joseph Murphy; 9 grandchildren, Braydin Lashley, Bryer Bowman, Reighnah Collins, Kloweigh Collins, Cambria Collins, Marley Collins, Jaylynn Broghdon, Michael Collins, and Grant Meadors; brothers Darrell Collins, Mike McGill, Charles McGill, Dennis McGill, and Everett McGill, and sister Glenda Collins Drummond.

Kenny was preceded in death by his father, Glen; his son Christopher Collins, his daughter April Collins; his sister Patricia Charles; maternal grandparents, and Dave and Kathryn Nowland; and nephew Tim “Puffy” Williams.

Funeral services will be at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Friday, September 18, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. with Reverend Jeff Matthews officiating. Family and friends may call on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Facemasks are respectfully required at all services.
