Saturday is deadline to buy KilnFest pass

The deadline to get a $20 pass for KilnFest 2020 has been extended until Saturday.

That includes a KilnFest 2020 T-shirt, an entry bracelet and entry for the VIP door prize. The passes can be purchased at State Bank of Medora in Medora, Family Drug in Brownstown or the Jackson County Visitor Center in Seymour or between noon and 4 p.m. Saturday at the Medora Brick Plant.

KilnFest 2020 is from noon to midnight Sept. 19 at the brick plant, 8202 E. County Road 425S, Medora.

The lineup includes Jerry and Amber Henson from noon to 2 p.m.; Skyline Drive acoustic duo Joe Persinger and Mike Shelton from 2 to 4 p.m.; Forrest Turner from 4 to 6 p.m.; Hot Rod Heart from 7 to 9 p.m.; bonfire jam session from 9 to 10 p.m.; and Kill’n Smalls from 10 p.m. to midnight.

There will be food, desserts and drinks available for purchase, door prizes, raffles and live and silent auctions.

The Medora Brick Plant and Historical Sites committee presented to the Jackson County Health Department concerning measures to be taken due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and that was approved. Attendees are asked to practice social distancing and wear face masks when in lines. People are asked to not attend if they have health issues, a fever or flu-like symptoms.

Proceeds will benefit the ongoing restoration project at the brick plant site.
