The Jackson County Recycling District will have a shredding event from 9 a.m. to noon Sept. 12 at RE/MAX Professionals, 1403 E. Tipton St., Seymour.
Speedy Shred will be available to shred all paper items that people have to drop off.
Acceptable items include tax documents, old checks, medical information, invoices, bank statements, receipts and any documents with personal information.
