Poplar Street between Laurel and Oak streets in Seymour is closed today and will remain closed through mid-day Wednesday, according to an announcement from Mayor Matt Nicholson’s office.

Laurel Street between Pine and Lynn streets also will close at mid-day Wednesday and remained closed through Friday.

The closure are related to the start of construction of Crossroads Village, a $12.5 million project to provide seniors 55 and older with a new option for housing.
