Rummage sale set for Friday, Saturday at history center

The Jackson County History Center will have its annual indoor rummage sale from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday in the livery barn at the center, 105 N. Sugar St., Brownstown.

Items will be half-price from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, and a bag can be filled for $3 from noon to 3 p.m.

Donations will be accepted for the sale through Wednesday. Small furniture, clean clothing, jewelry and household items are among the items that may be donated. Arrangements for drop-off may be made by calling 812-358-2118.

Items already donated include household items, antiques, dishes, books, toys, games, clothing, jewelry and more.

All items will be priced, and monetary donations for the history center will be accepted, too.

This is the history center’s first fundraiser of the year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

People must wear a face mask and practice social distancing while at the sale.
