BROWNSTOWN

Marcia Ann Ohl Hogg passed away early Tuesday morning after a year long battle with pancreatic cancer.

She was born on February 1, 1954 in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania to Leroy F. Ohl and Mary Catherine Houseknecht.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Earl and Larry Ohl, and her sister Linda Ohl Roark.

She is survived by her younger sister, Lynne Mathews.

She married Michael Hogg on December 28, 1973. They were gifted with a daughter, Megan, who survives with her husband Blake and sons, Keaton and Corbin. Marcia’s gentle spirit, sweet smile and disposition were the hallmark of over 50 years of service as a pastor’s wife.

She was known to many for her kind service as a bank teller in Vallonia and Ewing. She is remembered for her faithfulness and compassion. Her devotion to her Lord was remarkable and an anchor to so many family and friends. She left nothing undone and considered herself blessed in this life. Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints.

A private service for the family will be held on Saturday, August 1st at the Johnson Funeral Home in Vallonia. No visitation. Memorials may be made to Church of God Ministries (Memo: Stocksdale 42.10098) and can be mailed to Johnson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 24, Vallonia, IN 47281
