NORTH VERNON

Bladen “Red” Jayne, 22 of North Vernon passed away July 25, 2020. Born May 28, 1998 in Seymour he was the son of Paul and Stephanie (Stout) Jayne.

Bladen was a member of the Butlerville Mennonite Church. He enjoyed gaming, fishing, music and animals, especially dogs. Above everything he loved his family. Bladen was a considerate, loving kid, sweet natured and always telling his family “I love you”. He always wanted to make those around him happy.

Survivors include his parents; his brother, Nicholas Abell of Medora; his maternal grandparents, Jim and Linda Stout of Seymour; his paternal grandparents, John and Della Jayne of North Vernon; his maternal great-grandmother, Ezzlee Manning of Seymour; his aunts and uncles, John and Melissa Jayne of North Vernon and Alan and Shonna Wolkov of Las Vegas.

Pastor Jeff Elridge will conduct services at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 1, 2020 at Woodlawn Family Funeral Centre. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Church Cemetery in North Vernon. Visitation will be on Friday, July 31, 2020 at Woodlawn Family Funeral Centre from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Memorials can be given in memory of Bladen to the Mercy Rescue in North Vernon.
