Girls Inc. announces after-school program

Girls Inc. of Jackson County recently announced registration for its after-school program has started.

The program, which includes fun-filled classes to enhance learning, will be from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. weekdays starting Aug. 31 at the club, 956 N. O’Brien St., Seymour. The program is set to end May 26, 2021.

The cost is $125 for the school year. Due to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines related to the COVID-19 pandemic, space is limited. The guidelines require social distancing, and girls will stay within their assigned group. The club follows Seymour Community School Corp. for weather and COVID-19 closures.
