Thomas-Cooper engagement

Teia Thomas of Medora and Christopher Cooper of Crothersville plan to marry at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 8, 2020, at the Knights of Columbus in Scottsburg with a reception to follow at the same location. Michael Weiler and Stan Thomas will officiate the ceremony.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Paige Earl of Medora and the late Larry Thomas. The groom-to-be is the son of Michael and Katie Cooper of Seymour.

Teia is employed with the correctional office at the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department.

Christopher is a patrolman for the Seymour Police Department.

Both are volunteers for the Crothersville-Vernon Township Volunteer Fire Department.

Attendants will be Missi and Brian Clouse, Matt and Brandy Browning, Crystal and Alan Jones, Jennifer Baum, Paula Greathouse, Cody Defibaugh, Brandon Stott, Liz Crater, Emyrald Allen, Ben Spencer and Gunner and Kamden Cooper, both sons of the groom.

Flower bearers will be Colbie and Averie Cooper of Seymour, both sisters of the groom.

Ushers will be Trevor Peters, Nate Peters, Bryant Carmichael and Donald Crater.

Ring bearer will be Vayden Allen, nephew of the bride.
