The Crothersville Town Council will have a special meeting at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the town hall, 111 E. Howard St., Crothersville.
The purpose of the meeting, open to the public and press, is to hire a police officer.
The council also will have an executive session at 6 p.m. to discuss personnel. That meeting is closed to the public and press.
