The Brownstown Town Council will meet at 6 p.m. Monday at the town hall, 116 E. Cross St., Brownstown.

There will be a public hearing for an alley vacate for the Brownstown Volunteer Fire Department.

Also, the police, street and wastewater department heads will give reports along with the council’s appointee to the park and school boards. The police chief’s report will include a sample of a firearms discharge ordinance, and the street superintendent will discuss drainage in the Ewing area and storm sewers on Water and Bridge streets.

Other agenda items include town hall termite treatment, United Way Day of Caring, a depot building lease agreement and the senior citizens center.
