Local business partners have launched a Back the Blue campaign to support hometown heroes on the front line every day keeping others safe.

Debbie Atchison and Tammy Hubbard, who are teachers at Seymour-Jackson Elementary School and own an online boutique called Tada Clothing Boutique, have partnered with Bob Poynter GM to collect snacks, bottled drinks and gift cards for local police and sheriff’s departments.

Items can be dropped off at the dealership, 1209 E. Tipton St., Seymour, through Wednesday.

Atchison and Hubbard said they are starting out small with their business but have big dreams.

"While we are waiting on our dream to come true, we still want to give back to our community," they said.
