Patricia (Schwebke) Prange Weasner, 82, of Seymour, passed away on July 2, 2020 at her home. She was born in Belvidere, Illinois to parents Wilbert and Vera (Stegeman) Schwebke. She married Warren Dale Weasner at Immanuel Lutheran Church on May 14, 1994.

Pat graduated from Belvidere High School in 1956 and Concordia Teacher’s College in River Forest in 1960. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Seymour. Pat worked at Wal-Mart as a Floral Associate for twenty-six years. She was a former teacher at Immanuel Lutheran School in Seymour and Crothersville Community Schools.

Pat began each school year using “With the Lord Begin Your Task” on her bulletin board which was how she lived her life. She was instrumental in organizing the Immanuel Parent Teacher League (PTL) and served as the first Secretary. She taught Bible classes at Muscatatuck Training Center for many years. She was a member of Ladies Aid #3, the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League and the Hospital Guild. Pat set an example as a woman who supported the work of the Lord and His kingdom. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend.

Pat is survived by her children; Gregory (Jill) Prange, Teresa (David) Dukes-Flint; step-daughter Linda Louise Clark, and step son-in-law Greg Rose; grandchildren; Skylar Prange, Piper (Jeremy) Daulton, Mahlie Dukes, and Mitchell Dukes; great grandson, Logan Dukes; step grandchildren, Tamara Clark, Traci (Joe) Berlingeri, Brandon (Bonnie) Weasner and Aaron (Breanna) Rose; Lauren Railsback, Megan (Drew) Burgess, Valerie (Joe) Reitman; step great grandson, Parker Railsback; sister-in-law Anne Schwebke; and several nieces and nephews. Pat is expecting a great grandson in August and a step great granddaughter in September.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Warren Dale; brother Eugene Schwebke; son-in-law, Kevin Dukes; stepdaughter, Connie Sue Rose; and stepson Thomas Weasner.

The funeral service will be held at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Seymour on Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Ralph Blomenburg officiating. Visitation will be held at Voss Funeral Service on Tuesday, July 7, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Due to the Covid 19 Pandemic, face masks are required in the funeral home and social distancing is observed.

Memorials may be given to the Immanuel Lutheran School Building Fund, the Robert Demske Scholarship Fund, the Don and Dana Myers Cancer Center, or the Schneck Medical Center Hospital Guild in care of Voss & Sons Funeral Service.
