Randy Lee Hornaday, 62, of Seymour, passed away Sunday, June 14, 2020 at Schneck Medical Center. He was born in Indianapolis to the late Robert Lee and Ruble Lee (Sturgill) Hornaday.

Funeral services will be conducted at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Wednesday, June 17 at 5:00 p.m.

Family and friends may call at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. until time of service. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 national health emergency, masks are mandatory within the funeral home. Masks will be available.

On October 10, 1999, in Las Vegas, Randy married Teresa Foster; she survives.

He worked at Maplehurst Dairy for 17 years and then was owner of Poplar Street Restaurant and Tavern for 23 years.

He enjoyed watching Indy Car and drag racing as well as attending drag races. He loved to eat and fish, talk guns with Russell and motors/cars with Rex. He loved spending time with his brothers at the property. Randy was a pilot and owned several planes. He loved to travel, take road trips and visit casinos. He liked cats and had a cat named “Daisy” for over 20 years! He also had a spoiled Husky named Cherokee.

Randy is survived by his wife, Teresa Hornaday; stepson, Eric Holland; brothers, Russell Hornaday (Jerri Ann) and Rex Hornaday (Angela); and Husky, Cherokee.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Roger Hornaday.

Memorials may be written to Red Sky Rescue, in care of Voss & Sons Funeral Service.
