The Jackson County Public Library is offering virtual programming for teens in grades 6 through 12 this summer.

Programs will be posted on the library’s Facebook page with a link to the library’s YouTube channel, which can be accessed at any time. Click the “Subscribe” button on the library’s YouTube channel and the notification bell icon to stay caught up with the library’s virtual programs.

The programs include:

  • Virtual Tell Your Story: Storyboards at 2 p.m. June 23 and July 28. Submitted and approved stories will be made into a zine.
  • Virtual Volcanic Eruption at 2 p.m. July 7
  • Virtual Dragon Egg Drop at 2 p.m. July 21

The library also will present a live program called Jokes with Jill at noon Mondays through July 27. Registration is required, and space is limited to 30 participants.

Use Zoom from a computer at zoom.us or download the free app Zoom Cloud Meetings. Participants must provide an email to receive the link for the program. If the participant does not have an email, call the children’s department.
