NORTH VERNON

Mr. Charles Albert Clark Sr., 75, of North Vernon passed away on Monday, May 18, 2020. He was born on April 17, 1945 in Indianapolis to James Irl Clark and Virgie Eugenia (Ward) Clark. On May 10, 1969, he married Carol Janeen Hughes.

Charles served his country as a proud Marine. He was a loving grandfather and enjoyed fishing.

He is survived by his wife; sons, Charles (Tammy) Clark, Jr., and Casey (Catherine) Clark; daughters, Chantelle (Henry) Jenkins, Christy (Joseph) Van Dyke, and Courtney (George) Naderman; brother, James Irl (Violet) Clark II; sister, Virginia Gadient; 16 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Wanda Ralston, Letha Meton, Joan Baker, Barbara Hill, Cleta Monschien, and a great-granddaughter.

Private family services will be held Friday, May 22, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Voss & Sons Funeral Service. A private burial to follow at Riverview with a full military graveside service. A live stream of the service will be available for viewing on the Voss & Sons Facebook page.
