The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood watch for portions of south central Indiana including Jackson County starting this morning and continuing through Tuesday afternoon.

Showers and thunderstorms with heavy rains are possible today through Tuesday morning. Rainfall amounts of up to 3 inches are possible. A flash flood watch means conditions may develop that led to flash flooding and create dangerous situations.
