The Jennings County Sheriff’s Department launched a new website May 4 to serve as an information resource for the public and assist with community policing efforts.

Jenningssheriff.org allows visitors to find the latest information regarding the operations of the department, according to a news release from the department.

The responsive design allows visitors to access the information they may want and need from any device with simple, flexible navigation.

It features news releases, messages from Sheriff Kenny Freeman, which are updated frequently, pages on the services of each division of the department and a link to submit crime tips via email.

The website also allows the public to sign up for alert notifications, including those involving sex offenders, view photos and descriptions of wanted individuals and follow the sheriff’s department on Facebook.

Brooks Jeffrey Marketing Inc., a website, app and marketing company headquartered in Mountain Home, Arkansas, developed the website.
