Healthy Jackson County is conducting a community food drive.

Donations will be distributed to food pantries throughout the county.

Suggested donation items include nonperishable food (canned meats, beans, canned fruits and vegetables, peanut butter, etc.), bottled water, hygiene products and cleaning supplies.

Drop-off locations are Immanuel Lutheran Church, 605 S. Walnut St., Seymour, at Door 8 by the fountain and Schneck Foundation, 415 S. Walnut St., Seymour, inside the main door. Items will be accepted from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
