Lutheran Community Home in Seymour is encouraging people to send care cards to residents.

The facility had to restrict visitors for the residents’ safety during the coronavirus and COVID-19 pandemic, and that has left a lot of them feeling alone.

To combat the loneliness, care cards are being accepted from the public.

"If your family is getting restless and looking for some way to do good when it feels like all we can do it sit at home, we would love a little support and encouragement — from a distance," the facility posted on its Facebook page.

Care cards for Easter would be a great way to celebrate Holy Week and share a connection with the residents.

Easter cards can be mailed to Lutheran Community Home, 111 W. Church Ave., Seymour, IN 47274.
