The Jennings County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the disappearance of a 52-year-old North Vernon man.

A Statewide Silver Alert has been declared for Brian K. Kirby, who is 5 feet, 9 inches, weighs 180 pounds and has red hair and blue eyes.

He was last seen at 11 p.m. Saturday wearing an orange knitted toboggan, a gray sweatshirt with “Tennessee” in white letters and blue jeans.

Police say he is believed to be in danger and may require medical assistance.
