Crothersville officials announce more changes

Due to the continued public health crisis created by coronavirus and COVID-19, the town of Crothersville is making more changes.

Because of the limitations of gatherings at this time by both state and federal governments, meetings will be conducted by electronic means. That will include today’s special meeting at 6 p.m.

Crothersville Town Hall will be staffed from 8 a.m. to noon Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. The building will remain closed to the public. Business can be conducted by calling 812-793-2311. After hours for an emergency, people can call the office number for information.

With Indiana Gov. Eric Holcomb’s executive order, because the virus can live on surfaces for a length of time and for the health and safety of children, the town parks’ playgrounds are closed to the public until further notice.

All essential services will continue as normal.

Anyone with questions or concerns can send a message via the Town of Crothersville Facebook page, facebook.com/townofcrothersville.
