CROTHERSVILLE

Janet Marie Pearson Jines, 66, of Crothersville, IN, passed away at 3:43 p.m. on Friday, March 20, 2020 at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. Janet was born on Monday, June 8, 1953 in Middletown, OH. She was the second of eight children, born to Fred Leroy Pearson and Helen Marie (Brown) Pearson, who are both deceased. She graduated from Crothersville High School in 1971.

After graduation, Janet worked for Cummins Engine Company from November 1972 until retiring in November 2002. Before Cummins, she was employed at June’s Country Kitchen, Crothersville Library, and lastly worked at Crothersville Schools. She was a member of Crothersville Church of God, loved Elvis, taking pictures, going to music concerts, attending Ross Country Jamboree and Little Nashville concerts, always liked to be on the go and enjoy life.

Survivors include one daughter, Lisa Marie (Tim) Riley of Crothersville, IN, 3 grandchildren, Kaitlyn Marie Riley, Kyle Timothy Riley, and Kairyl Elisabeth Riley, all of Crothersville, IN, siblings, Barbara Beam, Seymour, IN, Donald (Betty) Pearson, North Vernon, IN, Ron (Kristi) Pearson, Crothersville, IN, Carolyn Lowe , Crothersville, IN, David (Michelle Hall) Pearson, Paris Crossing, IN, Kenny Pearson, Paris Crossing, IN, Jerry (Lorrie) Pearson, Seymour, IN and her beloved little Yorkie, Ricky. Private funeral services for family will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 27, 2020 at Adams Family Funeral Home & Crematory in Crothersville, with graveside services to follow at Vernon Cemetery. The funeral services will be live streamed on Adams Funeral Home Facebook page.
