The Seymour Parks and Recreation Department has canceled several upcoming events, including the annual city Easter egg hunt April 11 at Shields Park.

Other cancellations include Kids Corner, which features programming including a storytime and craft for preschoolers, on April 9 and April swimming lessons.

All scheduled activities and rentals at the Seymour Community Center have been canceled, and park officials will continue to evaluate when signups and league play for both softball and volleyball will begin.
