Two local real estate agents are looking to educate the public on buying and selling property.
Chelsea Burrell and Bethany Rust with Uptown Realty Partners are hosting Free B.R.E.W.S. Buying and Selling Real Estate with Simplicity from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at Rails Craft Brew and Eatery, 114 St. Louis Ave., Seymour.
The event is limited to 40 people, and the first 10 attendees will receive a free brew of their choice. Appetizers also will be served. There is no cost to attend.

Speakers include Michal Leah Bevers with Integrity Mortgage Group, Tanya Montgomery with Ruoff Home Mortgage, Megan Grunden from JCB, Kayla Stice with State Farm Insurance, Blake Spann with INSPEKT home inspectors and Mackenzie Eddy and Brittaney McIlquham with Royal Title Services.
The event will include giveaways, onsite preapprovals and question-and-answer sessions.
"We have noticed since our time in real estate how much the public lacked in basic real estate education to make them more confident buyers and sellers," Burrell said. "We want to meet people where they are and to help them feel real estate is relatable and not as intimidating as it seems."
