Greencastle High School Athletic Director Doug Greenlee has released information for those allowed to attend Saturday’s boys basketball regional.

Each participating school’s athletic director is responsible for the allotment of 75 people that will be allowed to attend the game. That includes parents, siblings and grandparents of the players.

ADs from the schools — Brownstown Central, Danville, Beech Grove and Brebeuf Jesuit — were asked to collect the presale tickets and issue their own. The AD and principal at each school will be responsible for letting their fans in, as Greencastle will not allow any fans into McAnally Center.

There will be no concessions or hospitality room available. Water and soda will be in the hospitality room for the ADs, administrators and coaches.

The number of fans allowed in the gym at one time will be limited. For the 10 a.m. game, fans from Beech Grove and Danville will be allowed in the gym.

After that game, the gym will be emptied for officials to do some extra cleaning and start admitting Game 2 fans. Brownstown and Brebeuf fans will not be allowed to enter until 11:30 a.m. Danville and Beech Grove fans should exit after their game.

Coaches can scout either game and will be allowed along with their teams.

Greenlee said all of this is being done as a precaution with the coronavirus situation and trying to keep the numbers at a bare minimum.
