SEYMOUR

Mr. Gregory VonDielingen, 68, of Seymour, passed away Sunday, March 8, 2020 at Lutheran Community Home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Seymour to the late Arthur and Mildred (Shoemaker) VonDielingen.

Funeral services will be at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Thursday, March 12 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Ben Yee officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery.

Family and friends may call at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Wednesday from 4:00-8:00 p.m. and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service.

On June 16, 1979, Greg married Cheryl Kendall; she survives. He was a member of Central Christian Church. He was a member of the Teamsters and Eagles. He spent a majority of his career driving trucks for RC/Big Red. He enjoyed when his boys would stop by and they could work or putter around in the garage. He enjoyed lawn work. He loved spending time with his family.

Greg is survived by his wife of 40 years, Cheryl VonDielingen; children, Jonathan VonDielingen, Aaron (Emma) VonDielingen, Brett (Jessica) VonDielingen, Cara (Nick) Hoopes; grandchildren, Carly, Jacob, Kylee, Teylor, Hudson; brothers; Duane (Phyllis) VonDielingen, Steve (Joyce) VonDielingen; and sister, Becky (Dave) Darlage.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
