CROTHERSVILLE

Cynthia Sue Lucas, 62, of Crothersville, IN, passed away at 9:45 p.m. on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at Hickory Creek Nursing Home in Scottsburg, IN. Cindy was born on Saturday, March 23, 1957. She was the daughter of Alfred Eugene Lucas who passed away on Oct. 2, 1996 and Norma Jean (Weddle) Lucas who passed away on Sept. 14, 2019.

Sis, as many people knew her, was sweet, kind, gentle, and loving to everyone who met and talked with her. She loved Elvis, Etch A Sketch, blingy purses, calculators, pens, index cards, notebooks, shuffling playing cards, eating snack cakes, and taking trips to the Dollar Store. Sis had a contagious smile that would melt your heart.

Survivors include her brother, Joseph (Connie) Lucas of Austin, IN, 1 niece, Shaleigh (Baylan) Gardner of Austin, IN, 1 nephew, Brennan (Camry) Lucas of Jeffersonville, IN, 2 great nieces, Brynlyn Gardner and Maxie Faye Lucas, 2 uncles, Edwin (Carloyn) Weddle of Crothersville, IN, Dr. Gordon (Mary Jane) Weddle of Campbellsville, KY, 1 aunt, Ruth Baldridge of Fulerton, CA, and a special cousin, Peggy Harmeling of New Albany, IN.

Funeral services will be conducted at noon on Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at Adams Family Funeral Home & Crematory in Crothersville, with burial to follow at Riverview Cemetery in Seymour, IN. Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until noon, all at Adams Family Funeral Home & Crematory in Crothersville.
