Library announces this month’s book discussions

The Jackson County Public Library book discussion groups plan to gather to discuss book themes, writing styles, characters and more this month.

The groups are open to adults, and there is no attendance requirement. The books are available to borrow at the library checkout desks.

The Tuesday Night Book Club meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. They will discuss their monthly book March 10 at Arby’s, 1930 E. Tipton St., Seymour. Information Services Assistant Kathi Linz will lead the review of “And Then There Were None” by Agatha Christie. Everyone attending should bring money if they plan to eat.

The book discussion group at the Crothersville Library, which meets on the third Wednesday of each month, will gather and share thoughts on “What Alice Forgot” by Liane Moriarty at 6 p.m. March 18 at the library, 120 W. Main St., Crothersville.

Fantastic Fiction will discuss “Before We Were Yours” by Lisa Wingate at 11 a.m. March 20, at the Seymour Library, 303 W. Second St. Led by Circulation Assistant Jordann Malone, this group meets on the third Friday of each month.

The Medora Library discussion group will meet at 5:30 p.m. March 23 to talk about “We Were the Lucky Ones” by Georgia Hunter. Circulation Manager Christina Hime leads the group that meets on the fourth Monday each month at the library, 27 W. Main St., Medora.
