Orlando and Maria Munoz have lived in Seymour for 20 years.

In July 2019, they received news that a family member, Christian Munoz, 29, was diagnosed with Stage 4 metastatic Hodgkin lymphoma in his breast, lungs and mediastinum. He lives in Puerto Rico.

The family is organizing a lunch fundraiser with the purpose of helping to pay for part of his chemotherapy treatments.

The meal will begin at 11 a.m. March 13 at Cornerstone Community Church, 1088 Sarasota Drive, Seymour.

The cost is $10 per plate. Home deliveries will be made if requested in advance by March 11.

All proceeds will benefit the Munoz family that includes Christian’s wife, Tamar, and two children.
