BROWNSTOWN

Tony S. Long, age 61, of Brownstown, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 26, 2020, at his residence.

Mr. Long owned and operated Tony Long Painting, the third generation of painters in his family. Tony enjoyed life and loved spending time with his friends, cats, joking, laughing and listening to music. He loved fishing, watching NASCAR and the Cincinnati Reds as well as playing Volleyball and Softball in the past.

Born on August 11, 1958, in Columbus, he was the son of Bill and Elaine (Lusk) Long.

Survivors include two daughters: Erica (Adam) Gebhart of Seymour, and Erin Long (fiance Caleb Robinson) of Vallonia; one sister: Connie (Danny) Morris of Columbus; four grandchildren: Hayleigh, Brooklyn, Abel, and Adalynn; niece: Daniele (Mark) Latte and Nephew: Joshua (Catherine) Morris and son Miles Morris.

Besides his parents, Tony was also preceded in death by one brother, Tim Long.

Funeral services for Tony S. Long will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 2, 2020, at Spurgeon Funeral Home, Inc., Brownstown, with Michael Hogg officiating. Friends may call from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 1, 2020, at Spurgeon Funeral Home, Inc., Brownstown, and from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Monday at the funeral home.
