Staff Reports

Crothersville Community School Corp. is offering students eLearning days to replace the need for traditional makeup days.

Upcoming eLearning days are from 8 a.m. to noon April 10 and 13. Those will make up for days missed because of snow and illness this year.

All students are expected to participate in the eLearning days, which are used for lost instructional days due to inclement conditions. Students will be provided work that reflects the teacher’s daily lesson plans to ensure learning continues in all curricular areas.

Students and parents will be instructed by their teacher on where they will access their instructional content prior to the eLearning day. The material will be accessible during the week or week prior to the eLearning day but must be completed outside of the classroom.

All assignments must be turned in to the teacher on the day following the eLearning day. Attendance will be recorded based on student work turned in for the eLearning day. Sick days may not be used for non-illness-related absences on eLearning days.

The elementary school computer lab will be available for elementary and junior-senior high school students that need computer or internet access from 8 a.m. to noon on the eLearning days. Students must be accompanied by a parent during lab use.

Teachers will be available for questions regarding their assignments during their posted office hours and will provide parents with a means to contact them.
