Dr. Eric Fish of Schneck Medical Center has been named one of the nation’s 100 CMOs to Know by Becker’s Hospital Review.

Recently promoted to executive vice president and chief operating officer, Fish served as chief medical officer of the Seymour hospital since 2017.

Fish, Dr. David Crabb, CMO of Eskenazi Health, and Dr. Jonathan E. Gottlieb, executive vice president and chief medical executive of Indiana University Health, were the only CMOs named from Indiana.

The list features national physician leaders dedicated to strengthening their organizations through physician leadership development, patient safety initiatives and quality improvement.

Fish joined the Schneck staff in 2005 and founded Schneck Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2006. A Seymour native, he graduated from Indiana University School of Medicine and completed his residency at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.

He is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. In 2013, he completed his Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee.

Fish is a past president of the Schneck staff, chairman of the physician excellence committee and medical director of Schneck Obstetrics and Gynecology. He also serves as chairman of the board of managers for Inspire Health Partners.
