Local businesses participating in MDA fundraiser


More than 200 Indiana businesses are coming together to help children and adults who suffer from neuromuscular diseases.

These businesses include Countrymark, which has locations at 314 E. Second St. and 101 Community Drive in Seymour; 1300 W. Commerce St. in Brownstown; and 5307 S. U.S. 31 in Crothersville; and Marathon stations at 933 W. Tipton St. in Seymour; 11786 E. State Road 250 at Uniontown; 301 N. Main St. in Brownstown; and 417 S. Armstrong St. in Crothersville; and the Citgo Station at 829 N. Ewing St. in Seymour.

In addition to all of the Hoosier businesses taking part, more than 10,000 more nationwide will be joining in making this the country’s largest St. Patrick’s Day themed fundraiser. 

For the month of March, these businesses with be giving customers the option to purchase a paper shamrock for $1 or $5 or more if they wish, with the proceeds going to fund disease research at various local medical facilities.
