Mr. John Wienhorst, 65, of Seymour, passed away Monday, February 17, 2020. He was born in Seymour to the late Lawrence Wienhorst and Ilene (Topie) Wienhorst, she survives.

Funeral services will be conducted by Voss & Sons Funeral Service at Immanuel Lutheran Church on Thursday, February 20 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Philip Bloch officiating. Burial will follow at Emanuel Lutheran Cemetery.

Family and friends may call at Immanuel Lutheran Church on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service.

On July 29, 1978, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, John married Jackie Jaynes; she survives. John was a lifetime draft horsepuller. He enjoyed fox and coyote hunting.

John is survived by his wife of 41 years, Jackie Wienhorst; mother; children, Thea (Chadd) Wehmiller, Kassi (David) Warner, Colt Wienhorst, Amos (Michelle) Wienhorst; grandchildren, Kennedi Wienhorst, Jaici Vaughn, Timothy Warner, Bella Wehmiller, Abel Wienhorst; and sisters, Judy McDonald, Janet (Steve) Jaynes, Joyce (Marvin) Boggs.

He was preceded in death by his father.
