"SMS Has Talent" is set for 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at Seymour Middle School, 920 N. O’Brien St., Seymour.

That night, 12 students and six faculty members will show off their talents. That will include singing, playing instruments and more.

Tickets are $3 with all proceeds going to the Don and Dana Myers Cancer Center in Seymour.

Between those proceeds and money collected from candy grams sold for Valentine’s Day, the school’s goal is to raise $1,000 for the cancer center.
